S2 E15 - Ringo, Side One - James Clark (aka The James Clark Institute)

Songwriter and Musician James Clark (aka The James Clark Institute) talks with host Paul Romanuk about the 1973 Billboard #1 album "Ringo". We talk about Side One on this episode.

The album features a stellar cast: all three of the other Beatles, Billy Preston, Harry Nilsson, Marc Bolan (just to name a few) and it was produced by the great Richard Perry.

Aside from talking about the great music on the album, we also talk about James Clark's music and how some of it has been influenced by his early days listening to The Beatles. We also talk a little about songwriter Randy Newman and pianist James Booker and, also, about the death of Otis Redding.
